Looking back through my photos of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula sent me sliding down the rabbit hole to one of the longest and most fantastic sunsets of my life. Summer in Iceland means long, drawn-out days, with the sun inching ever so slowly across the sky and lots of extra time in the evening for hiking and exploring. Selecting photos for this particular slideshow was difficult – I left out some fantastic shots. If there seems to be one too many sunset photos, I apologize – it was a photographer’s dream.
